For more than 50 years Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery® has been accepted worldwide as the leading, consistently excellent reference for every specialist who uses plastic surgery techniques and procedures. The Journal brings its readers the most recent, up-to-date information for the practice of both reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery authored by many of the most highly respected, experienced plastic surgeons within our specialty today. Twice yearly, the Journal expands its in-depth coverage by publishing a supplement on a subject of particular interest (most recently Botulinum Toxin Type A). The journal endeavors to cover all aspects of the specialty including scientific research, clinical application, and medicolegal implications.

Dr. Rod J. Rohrich, Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery, is Editor of the Journal.

As a resident, you are invited and encouraged to visit the journal web site at http://www.plasreconsurg.com. Along with the latest information on techniques and procedures in plastic surgery, you will also find a continuing medical education (CME) article each month encompassing a wide variety of subjects. The subjects covered and the questions asked on the examinations are also used by the American Board of Plastic Surgery for their Maintenance of Certification (MOCERT) examinations. We hope you will find the CME articles to be a great study aid for your MOCERT examinations. If you have any questions regarding the Journal, please contact Dr. Rohrich's office at (214) 645-3119.
